The Night consist of a 2 course meal (soup & steak pie or chicken)  , quiz, prize giving and a prize raffle, our star prize is a free membership for the next season. Although you may not be a winner, It’s important the membership supports this fantastic event and cheer on our 2026 champions. Reserve your space now by emailing colvillepark3@gmail.com

Like last year the Board will continue to implement their new policy regarding the collection of prizes.

All trophy winners will be contacted by the club within the next week and invited to join the membership at our annual prize giving evening to celebrate their success and collect their trophy and/or voucher. Understandably not everyone is able to attend the evening; however, in the past a few of those chose not to inform the club. This has led to disruption in the presentation of prizes on the night, where people are called up to collect a prize that is not in attendance. Going forward if a prize winner does not respond to the invitation their name will be read out on the evening to acknowledge their achievement, but neither the trophy nor their prize will be available to collect. This is to improve the flow of proceedings and with it everyone’s enjoyment of the evening. Runners up will be acknowledged on the evening but any runner up vouchers will be lodged in the pro-shop for collection.

The second change brought forward by this new policy regards the collection of vouchers. Each year the club are left with numerous uncollected vouchers at the end of the prize giving night which are not collected for months. For accounting purposes these vouchers require to have an expiry date. As such late collection creates additional administration for the club. As part of the new policy anyone who does not respond to the invitation to advise the club of their attendance at the prize giving will forfeit their voucher and the club will instead donate the value of the voucher to the Junior Golf section at Colville Park. For those who cannot attend the prize giving but inform the club by responding to the invite will be able to arrange to collect their voucher from the shop after the prize giving event.

The decisions above have not been taken lightly and have been made with the best of intentions to make the prize giving as enjoyable as possible and to support the team of people who put a huge amount of effort into organising the event and our competitions throughout the year.

Finally, the Board hope you have had an enjoyable golf season and would like to take this opportunity to cordially invite all our members, prize winners or not, to join us of the 30th October 2026 for our annual presentation of prizes. In addition to the prize giving the evening is stacked with fun for everyone. Further details will be announced shortly.

Thank you

The Board
