Winter rules to Start Monday 2nd November 2026 . Please obey these rules and keep your course in good condition for the start of next season. There is no rule to take the ball into the side of the rough! every shot must be played off a mat unless you are putting, teeing from the teeing ground area or in a bunker. The course ranger will be out and around the golf course to monitor members during their round. If any member is caught breaking the rules they will be subject to an automatic **2 week ban from playing !! **Please read the winter rules carefully and respect your golf course

Winter rules will start on Monday 2nd November 2026**
Drive Golf buggies assessed each day and posted on the golf greens Facebook page
Winter wheels must be used on all electric trolleys (electric trolleys are not permitted in push mode with no winter wheels)
Standard Push and pull trolleys are permitted( Push trolleys are available for hire in the professional shop)
Mats must be used throughout the golf course. (NO PLAY FROM GRASS UNLESS ON THE TEE OR PUTTING)
No teeing up from mats
You may putt from off the greens edges, but no chipping or chippers unless using a mat
Winter greens will be on play on holes 6, 11 ,13 & 17 during the winter period. The greens will be drained during October and November. All other greens will be checked daily and a course report will be on the Colville Park Greens page on the facebook or website just after 8 am daily.
At the weekend greens will be checked between 7 & 11 am. After 11 am the course set up will not change! Please enjoy your winter golf, but respect the clubs winter rules at all times!
