Due to the extremely wet August and start to September .Our greens team have been under extreme pressure to maintain the high standard of Greens we expect at Colville Park. The greens have been verti drained a number of times over the last 2 weeks and the depth has been increased from today(Thursday 10th September) 

A decision has been taken to core & top dress the greens early next week. Although this will have an affect on the appearance of the green it will firm up the putting surfaces considerably. Thanks for all your patience during this very challenging golf season. The weather being dry, gives us the ideal opportunity to complete the work. 

to avoid any temporary greens and inconsistent playing condition we feel we have no option, but to postpone Tuesdays senior event. Thanks for your patience!
